Description

I-BOND NF is biocompatible non-precious cobalt-based casting alloy for metal-ceramic dental restorations (crown and bridges). I-BOND NF contains no nickel, beryllium, cadmium and lead and fulfills the recommendations of the standards EN ISO 22674 and EN ISO 9693. The relatively low Vicker´s hardness of 285 (HV 10) leads to good and easy milling and grinding behaviour and gives perfect polished surfaces.

Chemical Composition

The alloy is completely free of nickel, beryllium, cadmium, and lead, making it highly biocompatible. It consists of:

  • Cobalt (Co): 63%

  • Chromium (Cr): 24%

  • Tungsten (W): 8%

  • Molybdenum (Mo): 3%

  • Silicon (Si): 1%

  • Niobium (Nb): < 1%
