Ceramic Etch Gel: will chemically etch entire surface where gel comes into contact with ceramic material. This will create a roughened undercut surface.

Directions for use:

  1. Isolate with rubber dam or other approved isolation technique, or apply Neutralizer to tissue, adjacent teeth and any other area that could contact etch site.
  2. Lightly surface grind the area to be etched to remove glaze and any lose procelain.
  3. Rinse and blow dry.
  4. Place gel in a plastic dappen dish. Using a plastic instrument or a brush with a plastic ferrule, apply to a thickness of approximately 1 mm. Gel should only be on etch site.
  5. When applying, it only requires 10-15 seconds to react.
  6. Let get set for 5 minutes.
  7. Rinse with water, evacuting all the rinse. Continue until all red colour has disappeared. Changing the angle of the rinse allows the gel to be removed from undercut areas.
  8. When dry, apply Silane Coupler and blow dry.
  9. Apply composite bonding agent to etched surface.
  10. When making a repair with composite, use a restorative composite material in the same manner as restoration of natural dentition.

Caution:

For professional use only. Tri-Dynamics Gel for Ceramics has a acid pH of 2.9. Avoid contact with oral tissue, skin and eyes. If accidental contact occurs, flush with water. Gel should be used only on dental porcelain. Do not use on enamel or dentin.

Danger:

Fatal in contact with skin. Toxic if swallowed or if inhaled. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Refer to product SDS for additional health and safety information.
